It's election day, and while there's not any real drama about the outcome of the New York City mayoral race, there are a few interesting political tidbits floating around about the race between Bloomberg and Ferrer:

Bloomberg 68, Ferrer 30 [New York Post]
Bloomberg campaigned for 17 hours yesterday - you know, just to make sure [New York Times]
Ferrer campaigns with Osama - oops, Obama [Daily Gotham]
If (no, make that "when") Bloomberg wins, how will he develop Ground Zero? [New York Magazine]
Last stop for Freddy [Village Voice]
Election guide for the last minute voter [Gotham Gazette]

and, finally, from The Politicker (which turns its political gaze to New Jersey), a lyrical tribute to New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Doug Forrester (what rhymes with "collective education"? Well, what about "appropriate inspiration"?)
