It's a sad day indeed when the MTA is so desperate for cash that it needs to sell naming rights to the subway: "In a bid to slam the brakes on future fare and toll hikes, the MTA has hired two marketing firms to help the cash-strapped agency generate revenue by selling naming rights to subway stations and other property."
