According to Venture Reporter, New York-based Global Document Solutions, a provider of technology-enabled document outsourcing services, has received an undisclosed equity investment from FTVentures. With the additional financing, the company will be able to expand the delivery of its printing and document distribution services to clients in the financial services, consumer services and telecom verticals. For example, the company recently opened a digital newspaper print site in New York for two leading UK newspapers -- the Guardian and The Observer.
